DeepCool Quanta DQ1250 1250W PSU Unboxing & Overview
All and all, we are fairly pleased with the DeepCool DQ1250. It seems to deliver on all of its promises, and offers fairly solid build quality. It passed JohnnyGuru’s rigorous testing with flying colors, and received great marks.That being said, there are things we think DeepCool could have done better. Firstly, the hardwired cables could definitely stand to be a bit longer, and while they’re at it, they should also match the included modular cables. We would have loved to see all black ribbon-type cables, or at the very least all black cables in general, as serious builders will not like like the color-clashing “rainbow spaghetti” that is the 20+4-pin connector.

Internally,it is just as impressive.Soldering and component selection is first class and DeepCool use highest grade,Nippon Chemi-con capacitors throughout.Technically it is a solid design and features stable load regulation, great noise suppression and high levels of efficiency.Noise levels are low, and the quiet, yet capable fan ensures that internal cooling proficiency is without question.It also passed my cross loading stress tests with flying colours.You will be able to pick up the Quanta DQ1250 model at a price around 250 US Dollars.This power supply deserves to be in the final shortlist for a new high end system build.It is an exceptional design and one that will cope extremely well with demanding graphics cards.

It's certainly not the best high-wattage PSU in the market but it offers near excellent performance with relatively low noise levels and at a tempting price tag so what's more to ask? On top of that add the 5 years warranty offered by DeepCool and you've got yourself a PSU that should appeal to a large segment of the market and that's why it gets our Platinum Award.

Most of performance aspects were excellent. Yes, I've seen better regulation from the likes of Seasonic and Super Flower, but this unit is no slouch. At 1.3% averaged stability in the hot box, this unit did extremely well. The same can be said for efficiency, which easily cleared Platinum both times. Even when the unit hit the full fifty degree mark in the hot box. This is a rock solid unit from a performance standpoint， it's easy to find worse units, hard to find better.

The DW1250's most notable advantage, most likely the decisive factor in its purchase, is that it manages to combine high capacity and efficiency with a fairly silent operation at, especially, light- to mid-level loads under normal operational conditions. The DQ1250 managed to survive all of my incredibly tough tests and operated flawlessly even while the ambient inside my hot box reached 47°C over prolonged periods of time, which reveals a lot about its reliability, it managed to perform very well throughout and is probably the quietest high-end PSU I have ever tested.

Encore une fois, Deepcool nous prouve tout son sérieux avec ce nouveau bloc, qui ne fait pas pâle figure face à la concurrence, avec de très bonnes tensions, un ventilateur qui se comporte bien et une finition relativement avenante. Encore une fois, c'est le prix qui déterminera le sort de cette alimentation, et malheureusement, nous ne l'avons pas en Euro. Aux US,A nous sommes à 249 Dollars, contre 299 Dollars pour une V1200 Platinum. Cela devrait se traduite par un 220 € contre 270 € en France, et pour 50 € de moins, cette alimentation nous semble intéressante, à condition toutefois que Deepcool nous livre une bonne garantie en Europe. En attendant, faute d'avoir toutes les informations, nous resterons sur de l'Argent pour ce bloc qui propose plus que l'essentiel, pour un prix correct pour la puissance.

Mit dem neuen DQ1250 liefert Deepcool ein sehr gutes Netzteil für Enthusiasten und High-End Anwender ab. Die PSU bietet eine gute Verarbeitungsqualität, einen hohen Wirkungsgrad und eine saubere Technik. Darüber hinaus wissen Anschlussmöglichkeiten sowie semi-passiv Kühlkonzept auf der ganzen Linie zu gefallen. Die fehlende Bedienungsanleitung und der leicht hörbare Lüfter sind uns zwar ein Dorn im Auge, doch dafür kann sich der Preis sehen lassen.
