Der Neptwin CPU-Kühler ist der ideale Kühler für Gamer. Was sollte man auch sonst von einem riesigen Kühler mit 6 Heatpipes und Dual-Lüftern erwarten? Deepcool Neptwin - Test/Review
Auch der neue Neptwin von Deepcooler richtet sich ganz klar an Overclocker und Enthusiasten, denen die Lautstärke bei hoher Umdrehungszahl egal ist. Für den Kauf des Kühlers sprechen neben der sehr guten Leistung die solide Verarbeitung, der üppige Lieferumfang und das sichere Montagesystem. Der fair kalkulierte Preis dürfte ebenfalls verlockend sein. Doch Vorsicht: Arbeitsspeicher mit sehr hohen Kühlkörpern vertragen sich nicht mit der breiten Bauweise unseres Testmusters!

DEEPCOOL Twin-Tower NEPTWIN im Test
Der DEEPCOOL Neptwin kann mit seiner Kühlleistung durchaus überzeugen. Ein dritter, optionaler Lüfter würde die Kühlleistung sicherlich noch einmal steigern, jedoch würde dies den Geräuschpegel zusätzlich noch einmal anheben. Die Verarbeitung des Kühlers ist auf einem sehr hohen Niveau. Durch die ineinander verhakten Aluminiumfinnen gewinnen die beiden Türme eine hohe Stabilität. Die vernickelte Bodenplatte weißt keinerlei Kratzer auf, auch wenn sie nicht durch eine separate Schutzfolie versehen ist. Der Kühler ist definitiv zur Kühlung übertakteter CPUs geeignet. In Verbindung mit zwei PWM-Lüftern könnte er auch Silentliebhabern gefallen.

Test: Deep Cool Neptwin prosessor kjøler
Having tested the Deepcool Neptwin a while, I can not help but say that this is a very good product. It keeps its goal of low temperatures on my processor and in addition to that the fans are quiet so I can not be anything but happy. The size is perfect for my use, and by 12 heatpipes everything becomes absolutely gold end well. Deepcool will no doubt have praised for doing a good job with this product. I am looking forward to look at more products from this manufacturer.

Deepcool Neptwin CPU Cooler Review
The Deepcool Neptwin is a very well-made, high-quality cooler. It is beautiful and seems to be very sturdy. It has good cooling performance combined with quiet operation. The Neptwin also has a flexible installation. You can install it with two fans as we did, but you can install only one fan at the middle (if you experience compatibility issues with memory modules), with one fan at the middle and the other one at the rear side, or even with three fans. You can also, of course, replace the stock fans for more powerful ones (sacrificing the silence for better performance). Because of its good look, quality, low noise level, and performance, the Deepcool Neptwin gets the Hardware Secrets Silver Award.

DeepCool Neptwin CPU Cooler
From a performance stand point we feel that DeepCool really hit the mark with the Neptwin cooler. While we tested this cooler with only the 2 fans provided, they have included hardware for a 3rd fan installation. This can yield slightly better performance, but from our past experience it may yield maybe a 1-2c at best; however, you will generate more noise from its 3rd fan which may or may not be a good thing for the user. Overall we feel that the DeepCool Neptwin Cooler provides excellent results. Even with our processor overclocked it proved capable of maintaining acceptable operating temperature. We think DeepCool really has something great here and its outstanding aesthetic appeal really pushes it over the top.Of course, take note that larger coolers like this one tend to block the RAM Dimms and this one is no exception. While this can’t be blamed on the cooler, always use precautions when purchasing larger coolers like the DeepCool Neptwin.The DeepCool Neptwin CPU Cooler is not widely found in the US Market. This cooler can be found overseas in Europe and Asia, it can be found for about 40 Euro which is about $51 US dollars, which is a great price for an outstanding product. The cooling performance and aesthetic appeal of the Neptwin earns our Editor’s Choice Award.

Deepcool NEPTWIN CPU Cooler
We love the design and the cooling performance, but we’re not so keen on the overall size or the untidy wiring caused by the separate fan power unit. Its strengths are pretty obvious really: it looks great, it’s nice and quiet, it will fit pretty much any processor on the market today and it’s got a decent level of cooling performance.

Cooler Master, DEEPCOOL, Noctua and Thermaltake CPU Cooler Roundup
The DEEPCOOL NEPTWIN is the real diamond in the rough here. At just $50.99 it beats all of the other air coolers in the roundup in the overclocked tests and best of all, it managed to do that without being obnoxiously loud! The twin fans were barely audible over the case fans in the Corsair 650D test case and as long as you don't have exceedingly tall RAM modules, you won't run into clearance issues in the vast majority of cases. If I had to pick a favorite purely in terms of price and performance, the NEPTWIN would be my choice. The focus on cooling efficiency over any kind of "bling" might not be to everyone's liking, but personally it appealed to me more because of that trait.

Но почему кулер не занимает первое место в других тестах? Потому, что как правило испытания проводят при оборотах вентилятора 1500-2000. При высоких оборотах кулер не так эффективен в сравнении с конкурентами, хоть тоже показывает хорошие результаты. Но именно благодаря большому расстоянию между пластинами кулер эффективен даже если вентилятор не такой быстрый — 1000 оборотов в нашем случае. Поэтому, если вы собираетесь собирать тихую систему не обязательно гоняться за топовыми моделями в $100 когда есть Deepcool NEPTWIN.

Deepcool NEPTWIN CPU Cooler Review
The fans are actually pretty good. Very quiet. Even when ramping up under load they were mostly inaudible. The splitter for the fans is quite nice, both aesthetically and functionally. Big plus for including that. The performance is great for an air cooler. Really would never have expected to achieve a 4.8 ghz clock. Finally price, at only $59.99 this really is a well priced piece of gear.

Deepcool NEPTWIN Heatsink Review
The nickel plated copper base of the DeepCool Neptwin heatsink is flat in one axis and very slightly concave in the opposite. The polishing and subsequent metal plating leave it with a mirror smooth surface.

The NEPTWIN offers a very competent level of performance for its size and cost and has a staggering amount of flexibility between silence and maximum performance. The mounting mechanism is simple and effective and all the parts used seem to be of high quality and look well finished.Theinclusion of thermal paste and the fan hub are the deal sweeteners .The included fans are also very good.Finally, as always, the aesthetics are left down to your own personal preferences but I think Deepcool have done a good job in providing both a clean, and gamer style CPU cooler.Therefore it is without hesitation that I award NEPTWIN CPU cooler from Deepcool the Awesome award.

Test Deepcool NEPTWIN
Après ces quelques lignes, il est temps pour nous de boucler cette article. Le Deepcool Neptwin nous a séduit au point de vue des performances en terme de dissipation thermique mais également au niveau de la finition global et de la qualité d'assemblage. Nous lui reprochons par contre de ne pas être très silencieux, mais cela est causé par le deuxième ventilateur qui lui n'est pas PWM, il aurait été bon de proposer soit un câble avec une résistance ou alors un potentiomètre déporté sur une équerre PCI. Ne perdons pas de vue qu'il offre un très bon rapport performance / prix puisqu'il est annoncé pour un tarif public de 49,99 € mais, celui-ci est très mal distribué en Europe.
