If you don’t mind pre-ordering, the price drops even further to just £59.99 at scan.co.uk. If you have read my previous article on the best 360mm AIO coolers 2019 you will see that some of those prices were eye watering, so to find something that looks this good, performs this well, and costs this little is frankly hard to beat. Therefore the Gammax L240 rightly deserves our Play3r Gold Award. Good job Deepcool.

    In terms of the Deepcool Gammaxx L240 though, that definitely isn’t the case. In terms of the actual components to this cooler, I have no complaints. The overall quality is nothing amazing or innovative to my eyes, but it’s certainly on par with the competition and better than expected for the price range. Build quality is as good as it gets, as everything feels robust and has a good weight to it. The tubing is flexible, but feels very strong and comes fitted with premium quality screw mounts on both the pump and radiator ends. The mounting system is as good as they get in terms of ease of use. In terms of temperature performance, without doubt, the Deepcool Gammaxx L240 did operate forwards in the higher end of the scale (in comparative testing).

    Deepcool nous propose ici son premier watercooling AIO. D'habitude, ce type de produit est fabriqué par GamerStorm, division gaming de Deepcool. Cet AIO est donc plus simple et accessible que les GamerStorm Captain ou Castle. Le Gammaxx L240 est de petite taille et pourra donc être facilement intégré dans un boitier. Malgré tout, il reste efficace. Il permet de maintenir correctement au frais le processeur.

    D’un point de vue des performances, elles sont globalement identiques au Castle 240 RGB (logique) et restent très correctes ne concédant qu’un petit degré à une certaine concurrence. On gagne sur le plan sonore par rapport à cette concurrence, mais le Castle 240 RGB reste, cependant, audible, notamment à pleine vitesse.

    Avec le GAMMAXX L240, Deepcool s'attaque à l'entrée de gamme RGB et nous propose un des kits les moins chers. Du côté des performances et des nuisances sonores, nous sommes logiquement au niveau du Castle 240, qui a la même base, et c'est une bonne base. Les performances sont correctes et les nuisances sonores contenues grâce à la gestion PWM. En bref, un kit que nous recommandons pour ceux qui cherchent du RGB classique et qui ont ce qu'il faut pour tout contrôler.
